I agree on the starting small and not trying to do too much at first. I made this mistake when I was starting out and ended up wearing myself thin.

At the same time, I had all these ideas running through my head, so i got an “idea notebook” and kept it with me at all times.

When a new idea came up that i wanted to pursue, i wrote it down and continued on doing what i was doing. This gave me a bigger sense of accomplishment.

I just got started in vending, and I have found that a real winner when it comes to getting started with a vending client is promoting healthier options. Most, if not all schools, are getting rid of traditional vending machines that sell soda and junk food, and installing ones with better options, some locations even want to go organic.

I find that the vending machine itself and the service that the location gets is secondary to the options inside the machine.
