Is Cost of Goods Sold = cost of goods manufactured?
How to find Cost of goods sold without ending inventory of finished goods?
In this case, can I assume cost of goods sold = cost of goods manufactured?
NO.
In the inventory (finished goods) T account, it would normally consist 2 Debit components & 2 credit components.
The Dr are Beginning balance & COGM/ purchases (depends if the it's a manufacturing/ trading company).
The Cr are COGS and end balance.
If you know 3 components of these, then it's just +/-. If there's no information on beg/ end inventory then you can assume that they equal to 0 (after you are 100% sure that the information doesn't exist).
Cheers…

Hello. I am not a business, just a person that wants to have a small product produced & bought from China or another cheap factory. I found some places that can do it. But I want to know what is the most secure way to pay them & not get scammed? I cant afford to pay & not recieve the goods. Any suggestions from someone who has experience?? Please help. No rude comments
Go to www.alibaba.com Online marketplace for international and domestic Chinese manufacturers and trading companies. Offers online services for importers and exporters. My business Professor told us about It and They rate their businesses like on ebay.

Some of these baked goods — pastries, cakes, etc. — aren't kept more than a day. What do store like Wegmans do with them?
unfortunately i know most throw them away or they are supposed to anyway. its such a shame and waste with so many starving ppl in the world.
my sister works in the bakery department at a local grocer..she says they pitch it all..because otherwise ppl wouldnt by any fresh baked goods they would just wait to get dicounted day old gooods….and as far as giving to the employess she said they think the employess would then make to much so they can have it at end of day for cheap or free….and for the pantries she said it gets to complicated..because this one or that one would feel like why am i not getting anything but that one is…my sister said its an utter shame at what she sees go in the trash…i wish there was a better way, it would not only help the ppl but would also help keep costs down becasue of waste.

I just moved to London (south ken) from NY and I am trying to purchase simple home goods – like a shower caddy (that hangs over the shower head), window shades and an inexpensive shelving unit… any suggestions besides Ikea or Habitat? Is there anything remotely like bed bath and beyond?
